The Government has decided that 50% of the monthly Medical Allowance presently paid to the Employees and Pensioners (EP)of the State Government including State PSUs, State Corporations, Boards, Statutory Bodies etc and Work-Charged Employees (drawing Scale Pay) will be converted towards payment of premium for Health Insurance Cover of Rs. 20 lakhs per household per year for beneficiaries under Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS). Further, for Government Employees, any additional expenses beyond the insured amount of Rs. 20 lakhs shall be reimbursed on a case to case basis by the State Government on recommendation of the State Medical Board.
Entitlement for benefits for dependent family members and accommodation facility etc are based on dependency rules and pay grade of the incumbent respectively. Government Employees& Pensioners are to update their Service/ Pension Records relating to service matters and life events from time to time as it unfolds as per existing guidelines.
Accordingly, updated information is required to provide appropriate entitlements to Government Employees& Pensioners under the CMHIS. As a result, onetime collection/ submission of information will not be helpful and may result in erroneous provision of entitlements.
Registering and obtaining a Card by every beneficiary is required to avail the benefits under the CMHIS. With a view to circumvent the problems associated with physical submission of service matter related documents and life events information to the Nodal Departments for maintenance of Government Employees and Pensioners database, CMHIS State Beneficiary Portal was developed to enable beneficiaries to either self-register or register through any of the Registration Centres. The online registration service can be accessed athttps://cmhis.nagaland.gov.in.
To facilitate registration of beneficiaries and card issuance, Registration Centres have been setup in various Government Establishments (DC Office, District Offices of different Departments) and Health Facilities (District Hospital, CHCs, PHCs) as well as in Common Service Centres, UTIITSL and other BIS Partners. Further, Special Enrolment Drive is being organised across the State with an aim to expedite saturation of the scheme (beneficiary registration & card issuance). The schedule of the Special Enrolment Drive will be sent to the Village Council/ Town Wards from respective Deputy Commissioners. The district wise schedule for the Special Enrolment Drive is available at https://cmhis.nagaland.gov.in.
We appeal to all the Government Employees and Pensioners to kindly come forward and register themselves to avail the benefits of CMHIS
Note:
1. Using the Household ID (HH ID) created following approval of the registration, Ayushman CMHIS Card for every member of the household will be generated after collection of Aadhaar based eKYC from NHA BIS Portal at https://setu.pmjay.gov.in
