Kohima, December 16 (MTNews): The Silver Jubilee Celebration of Koinonia Baptist Church (KBC) commenced on Friday night at NBCC Convention Centre in Kohima under the theme “Proclaim the year of the Lord.”
An update from the church received here said that Rev Zotuo Kiewhuo, Founder and Senior Pastor, Koinonia Baptist Church (KBC) and Principal of Kohima Bible College (KBC) delivered the message ‘I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it,’ (Mathew 16:18) a sermon he first delivered at Koinonia in December 1997.
He told the congregation to rejoice at all times and not be victims but emerge victorious in the likeness of Christ.
The speaker told the people in attendance to get rid of evils and stressed on the need for Church and believers to stand still in times of storms rooted in the strong foundation of Christ and not be misled by wrong doctrines and other demonic fests.
Earlier, Rev Zotuo Kiewhuo also unveiled the Silver Jubilee monolith at the New Church site in the presence of the Church evangelists, deacons and other workers.
On Saturday at 10:00 AM there will be a ‘Jubilee Concert and Talents Celebration’ and later in the evening, at 3:00 PM there will be a gospel service wherein, Rev Joy Lalsangkima, Director of Agapia Social Centre will be the speaker and the service will be led by Medotsilieu Kiewhuo Pastor KBC.
It informed that Free Bus services will be provided at various locations in and around Kohima in the morning and in the evening both for picking and dropping. The program is also being broadcast live on Koinonia Baptist Church – YouTube and Facebook.
