Mokokchung, February 8 (MTNews): Indian National Congress (INC) candidate from 23 Impur Assembly Constituency, Bendangkokba held his declaration program in Mopungchuket Village today.
During his speech, Bendangkokba mentioned that he picked the Congress party because of its slogan, and that the Congress party has always been loved and supported by the people of 23 Impur A/C.
He went on to remark that the first and primary desire of any village is development, but that progress can only come when it begins at the grassroots level with coordination from all stakeholders and free of corruption.
The candidate went on to declare that if the people grant him a platform, he will try to develop the constituency by establishing roadmaps and keeping a check from the bottom to the top.
Earlier, short speeches were delivered by President, INC 23 Impur AC; Chairman, Mopungchuket Village Council, and Watimongba Aier, President, DCC Mokokchung.
