Mokokchung, 05 April (MTNews): Ao officers serving in various departments under the state government of Nagaland and living in Dimapur, Chumoukedima, Niuland and Peren districts have formed a forum with a nomenclature as “Dimapur Zone Ao Officers’ Forum” and it is scheduled to launch on 8 April at Hotel Saramati, Dimapur at 11:00 AM.
The forum aims to provide “collective leadership for healthy and productive community life in Naga society,” a press release received here said. “It would also be a forum to create and share ideas to promote young talents and cultural values amongst the younger generation,” it added.
According to the press release issued by the Organising Committee convener, I Anungba Sanglir and the member secretary, Lanuzülu, all the officers working under various governmental departments, institutions and organizations in Dimapur, Chumoukedima, Niuland and Peren districts are eligible to become a member of the forum.
As it was difficult to deliver the meeting notice individually, they expressed regret and further requested all the government officers in Dimapur to attend the launch program of the forum as scheduled.
