Kohima, 17 May (MTNews): The government of Nagaland has through a notification appointed W Nginyeih Konyak as the Chairperson of the Nagaland Women Commission (NWC) on 17 May. Along with the Chairperson, the government has also appointed Kekhrienuo M Mor and Akokla Longchar as members of the Commission.
The appointment shall be for a period of three years from the date of their joining the post and the terms, conditions, power, functions and honorarium of their appointment shall be as per the provisions of the Nagaland Women Commission Act 2006 and rules made therein from time to time, the notification said.
