The District Institute for Education and Training (DIET), Mokokchung on Wednesday organized a parting social event to celebrate the successful completion of the educational journey of the outgoing students. The event, held at the DIET Auditorium, had the theme “A Sweet Ending to a New Beginning” and aimed to honor the hard work and dedication of the outgoing students.

 

 

The parting social was attended by faculty members, staff, and students, providing an opportunity for everyone to come together and bid farewell to the graduating class. The venue was beautifully decorated with vibrant banners, balloons, and artistic displays, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.

 

The event began with Sungjemmenla and Bursenla as comperes, welcoming everyone. Mr Temsuwapang, the DIET vice principal, delivered an exhortation speech, congratulating the graduating class on their achievements. He highlighted the importance of lifelong learning and encouraged the students to apply the knowledge and values they gained at DIET to their future endeavors.

 

Lanuwati, representing the outgoing students, shared memories and delivered a heartfelt speech. He expressed gratitude to the faculty and staff for their support and guidance throughout their educational journey. Lanuwati also shared their aspirations for the future, expressing optimism and determination to make a positive impact in their respective fields.

 

The formal program concluded with a benediction by Sungjempongla.

 

The second session of the event featured a series of performances showcasing the diverse talents of the students. The audience enjoyed mesmerizing dances, melodious songs, and engaging skits, which added entertainment and nostalgia to the event.

 

As the students bid farewell to DIET, they left with a sense of pride and gratitude, carrying cherished memories and a strong foundation for their future endeavors. The parting social served as a memorable and joyful celebration of their educational achievements and the beginning of a new chapter in their lives.
