Kohima, 14 July (MTNews): The State Banquet Hall in Kohima witnessed a rare gathering on Friday as the Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) and members of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) came together for a Prayer Fellowship. The event received participation from leaders of Church Associations and legislators along with their spouses.

 

Expressing his gratitude towards all the participants, leaders from Church Associations, and legislators, Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio took to Twitter to share his thoughts. He stated, “Commitment to prayer and receptiveness to grace brings sustenance to our lives. I look forward to more of such fellowship.” CM Rio’s tweet highlighted his eagerness for future gatherings that foster unity and spiritual growth among the attendees.

Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton also expressed his gratitude on Twitter, emphasizing his gratitude for being part of the Prayer Fellowship of the NBCC and members of the NLA. In his tweet, he stated, “Grounded in God’s love, may we lift each other up in prayer and glorify God in all we do. Grateful to all the participants, Church leaders, legislators, as well as the families.”
