Mokokchung, 14 July (MTNews): In a significant move, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Chief JP Nadda has extended a formal invite to the Naga People’s Front (NPF) President Shürhozelie Liezietsu to attend the upcoming National Democratic Alliance (NDA) meeting on 18 July.

 

Stating that the NPF is an “important constituent,” Nadda expressed his admiration for the NPF’s contribution to the NDA coalition and lauded the party’s role in India’s journey of development, emphasizing the principles of Sewa (service), Sushasan (good governance), and Garib Kalyan (welfare of the poor) under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

 

Nadda highlighted the “unprecedented pace to India’s growth on all fronts” achieved by the NDA government over the past nine years. Notable accomplishments he mentioned included “welfare of the poor and marginalised, economic development, the reawakening of India’s cultural pride, national security, emergence of India as a significant power on the world stage.”

 

Nadda further stressed that the NDA government’s commitment to service and good governance has propelled India towards the realization of its vision of Amrit Kaal, with the aim of India@2047, encompassing the principles of Sabka Saath (collective effort) and Sabka Vishwas (inclusive trust).

 

It may be mentioned here that the NPF is an ally of the BJP in Manipur. With the current turmoil in Manipur, the saffron party needs support of the party now more than ever.

 

The forthcoming NDA meeting, scheduled for 18 July at 5 PM in New Delhi, will take place at hotel The Ashok and will be graced by the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

 

“As part of the NDA, your support not only strengthens the coalition, but also strengthens India’s developmental journey. Your presence is cordially requested in the meeting,” Nadda concluded.
