Kohima, 28 August (MTNews): The Union Minister of State for Railways and Textiles, Darshana Jardosh, who is on a three-day visit to Nagaland from 27 to 29 August, on Monday inaugurated the Nagaland Women Vocational Training Institute Emporium in Kohima, supported by Ministry of Textiles.

“From Naga Jewellery to Woodcarvings and Bamboo & Cane Products to Tribal craft, the Emporium has it all. Another specialty of this Emporium is that all the items showcased here are handcrafted by the Women of Nagaland, trained by the Vocational Training Institute,” the Union Minister posted on X.

 

The Union Minister also held a meeting with Nagaland CM Neiphiu Rio and addressed the officials of Railways and Textiles. She said that both the Central and State Government are working in tandem on various infrastructural and public welfare projects in the state.
