Children’s Day was celebrated at the Care and Support Children Home on 14 November 2023 under the theme “For Every Child; Every Rights.” The event was organized by the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) and Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) in collaboration with the District Child Protection Unit, Mokokchung. The celebration featured exhortations, singspiration, recreational activities, and the distribution of presents, marking the significance of the day. The Children’s Day celebration aimed to raise awareness about the rights, education, and welfare of children. There are currently 19 children residing in the Care and Support Children Home.
