Mokokchung, 24 November (MTNews): At the close of day 2 of the ongoing 1st Inter Department Sports Tournament of Mokokchung, District Executive Force (DEF) was leading the medals tally with 2 Gold medals and 1 Bronze.
Education Department, Forest, and Youth Resources & Sports were also on equal footing with one Gold medal each.
Meanwhile, Agriculture was with 2 Silver medals but has yet to win a Gold. District Administration, Home Guards, and Power Department had 1 Silver medal each.
NPTO won 2 Bronze medals while Health & Family Welfare, Fazl Ali College, SARS (Yisemyong), Jail, NPWD, Social Welfare, and RD won 1 Bronze medal each.
The tournament will conclude on Saturday with the closing function scheduled at 1:00 PM to be followed by final matches and prize distribution at Indoor Badminton Stadium, Mokokchung.
