Kohima, February 24 (MTNews): Chairman, NBSE, Asano Sekhose, has in a statement informed that the HSSLC Examination 2022 will commence from 8th March 2022 till 31st March 2022, and that the HSLC Examination 2022 will commence from 9th March 2022 to 22nd March 2022.

 

In HSSLC Examination, a total of 17,117 candidates are enrolled, including 13,811 in Arts stream, 1,157 in Commerce stream and 2,149 in Science stream, who will be appearing from 88 provisional examination centers. Out of 17,117 candidates, 7,860 are boys and 9,257 are girls.

 

Meanwhile, 30,327 candidates will be appearing the HSLC Examination 2022 from 135 provisional examination centers and 4 sub-centers. 1,391 candidates will also be appearing the HSLC Compartmental Examination 2022 from 35 examination centers.

 

It was also informed that the Class XI Promotion Examination 2021 shall also start from 1st April 2022 to 23rd April 2022.
It may be noted that due to COVID-19 pandemic, more additional examination centers have been created in the districts and sub divisions in order to maintain social distancing in the examination centers.

 

On 23rd February 2022, the Board had an online meeting with all the Centre Superintendents where their duties and responsibilities were discussed in detail. They were also briefed about the preventive measures/SOPs to be followed during the conduct of the examinations to contain the spread of COVID-19.

 

The Board shall also deliver the materials to the examination centers to disinfect the rooms, washrooms, halls etc, NBSE said.
Candidates are required to bring their original Admit Cards to the examination hall/room on all the days of the examination. Candidates are also requested to read the question paper carefully before they start to write the answers. Answers to the questions should be written keeping in mind the marks allotted to it.

 

NBSE also reminded the students to refrain from any kind of mal-practices during examinations and to reach the examination center in time.

 

The Board also appealed to all the candidates to wear face masks, observe social distancing norms, avoid contact with unknown persons, etc., to protect themselves. An earnest appeal also goes out to the parents and guardians to guide their ward on the important guidelines/SOPs and to follow it. Everyone’s cooperation is needed to avoid spreading of COVID-19 during the conduct of the examinations, NBSE said.

 

With the examinations around the corner, the NBSE also conveyed its best wishes to all the candidates appearing for the examinations.
