Lipoktoshi Longkumer, the proprietor of “Engraving House,” shared with Mokokchung Times the genesis of his venture. He recounted how his journey began in 2018 when the arrival of the town’s first CNC Router Machine at his brother-in-law’s modest studio sparked his interest.

Recognizing the potential for both business and community service, Longkumer embarked on a journey of learning, mastering the details of the machine through dedicated training and observation. In 2021, armed with newfound expertise, he assumed ownership of the business, forging ahead with determination and vision.

Stating that the business has so far been “sustainable”, he said the location of the house has been a challenge. ‘Engraving House’ is located at I.M road, Arkong Ward (Opposite Nettic Computers). “Because my store is outside the main town area, not many people are aware of the service we provide,” he said, adding that it has been “very hard to grab the attention of the people.” However, he expressed confidence that the people would not be “dissatisfied with their service.”

“Since the works we do are being done by machine, they will find that our works are more detailed, finer, and more time-efficient,” Longkumer said, adding that their services are reasonably and affordably priced.
