Peren, 12 April (MTNews): Former Naga People’s Front (NPF) candidate from 7 Peren Assembly Constituency, Kingudi Joseph, along with a host of party leaders tendered their resignations from the NPF today and pledged support to the candidature of INC Candidate for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections, S Supongmeren Jamir.
The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) welcomed them with gratitude and acknowledged their “sacrifice in the fight for the Soul of India.”
In a formal communication addressed to the President of the Naga People’s Front (NPF) headquarters in Kohima, Kingudi Joseph, accompanied by fifteen other NPF officials, tendered their resignations from both primary and active memberships of the NPF Peren Division, effective immediately. Their reason, as stated in their resignation letter, is to strengthen and support the INC candidate in the forthcoming Lok Sabha Election.
