The trade bodies of Nagaland and Karbi Anglong, Assam, have come together to strengthen their ties and create a robust business ecosystem for the two regions.
On July 13, 2022, a delegation from the Confederation of Nagaland Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CNCCI), led by Chairman Dr Khekugha Muru, Vice Chairman Aben Ngullie, and Treasurer Mahesh Agarwal, visited the Karbi Anglong Chamber of Commerce office in Diphu, Assam. The delegation was accompanied by members of the Dimapur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI).
The two chambers engaged in discussions on various issues and the way forward for the business communities of Nagaland and Karbi Anglong. During an open and free discussion, both sides addressed the difficulties faced by their respective business communities and resolved to hold further rounds of discussion to mutually resolve these issues.
The two bodies agreed to strengthen the working relationship between the chambers and to work towards creating a robust business ecosystem for Nagaland and Karbi Anglong. Additionally, they collaborated to support the business communities of both regions.
The meeting also included a detailed exchange of market problems from both sides, with a commitment to work together to resolve these issues.
