In commemoration of the 3rd National Javelin Day, the Chümoukedima Athletics Association (CAA), in collaboration with the Nagaland Athletics Association (NAA), organized a javelin competition for young athletes in the U-12, U-14, and U-16 categories for boys and girls from Chümoukedima District on August 7, 2024, at the 1st NAP Ground.
The event was graced by Mhonsao Ngullie, Honorary Secretary of the Nagaland Athletics Association, as the inaugural guest, while Naga Olympian Chekrovolu Swuro was the guest for the closing ceremony.
