Lavoriyi Theluo, former youth coach for Minerva Punjab FC and current coach for Benreu FC in the Peren District Football League, has successfully completed the AFC B License course, making him the first and only AFC B License coach from Phek District.
Theluo, 31, hails from Phusachodu village and has had a distinguished football career, representing Nagaland twice in the Santosh Trophy and the North East Dr T Ao Football Championship.
Throughout his career as a footballer, Theluo played for various clubs, including FC Kerala, Maharana AC Guwahati, Hornbill United FC Delhi, and several local teams. His coaching journey has now reached a new milestone with his AFC B License certification, positioning him as a key figure in Nagaland’s football coaching landscape.

Looking ahead, Theluo is now more motivated than ever to continue his coaching journey, with aspirations to obtain his A License in the coming years. “With determination and dedication, I am ready to take on the challenge and continue striving for excellence,” he added.
