Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa, has notified that, in continuation of the previous order dated August 28 regarding the travel advisory issued due to a roadblock at KM 14.00 on NH 202 (between Longsa Junction and Dikhu Bridge) caused by a landslide, the restriction on vehicular movement along the same stretch of NH (Chare-New Chungliyimti-Meyilong-Longsa-Sewak/Mokokchung) has been extended until September 5 and 6, 2024, due to the incomplete work/debris clearing.
Travelers are advised to use the following alternative routes on the restricted dates:
1. Trongar-Alisopur-Longmisa-Mokokchung
2. Yangli/New Sangsomong-Yehemi-Suruhoto
