The Treasury Officer of Mokokchung, Temsupongla, has issued a notice to all pensioners drawing pension payments from the Senior Treasury Office, Mokokchung, regarding the mandatory submission of life certificates. Pensioners are required to submit their life certificates, along with their renewed identity card ‘D’ from the Pensioner Association Office, the Pension Payment Order (PPO) book, a photocopy of their Aadhaar card, and a bank passbook on the designated dates for verification.

The life certificate forms can be collected from the Treasury Office on all working days. Pensioners who fail to submit the required documents on the specified dates will not receive their pension payments. This exercise is being conducted to comply with Central Treasury Rules No. 367 and 360 (IV), which mandate the verification of the continued existence of pensioners.

The pension verification will be carried out on the following dates:

4 November 2024: Tsusapang, Sungkumen, Tongdentsuyong, Alempang, Alongmen, Dilong, and Yimyu wards.

5 November 2024: Kapayong, Salangtem, Penli, Majakong, Artang, Marepkong, and Lijabalijen wards.

6 November 2024: Mongsenbai, Kumlong, Kichutip, Sangtemla, Arkong, and Aongza wards.

7 November 2024: Ongpangkong Range.

8 November 2024: Asetkong, Langpangkong, Jangpetkong, Tsurangkong, and Japukong Ranges.

The Treasury Officer has also reminded all pensioners to bring their renewed identity card ‘D’ from the Pensioner Association Office. Life certificate forms can be obtained from the Treasury Office on any working day and must be duly filled out and submitted during the verification process. It was also reiterated that no pension payments will be made without verification.
