Nagaland football team reached Nalbari Assam today for Santosh trophy 2024. Nagaland will play first match against host team Assam on 20th November.

The team is led by Head coach Shri Roko Angami, Assistant coach Khwetelhi thopi, Manager cum Goal keeping coach Vizovor Lezietsu and Physio Zakielatuo Seletsu.

The squad features a diverse mic of talent, representing different districts of Nagaland: Eshong konyak (G), Tesinsen Rengma (G), Chiu Khiam, Sanyem konyak, Toka Achumi, Merensang pongen, Bokato Awomi, S Nguo, Menoneikho Nakhro, Zarenthung Lotha, Khiuwangbo Kaurinta, Sentilong Ao, Mughahuto Chishi, Nisede peseyie, Yoto Lohe, Kenumdi Siarau, S Ayenmonba Chang, Qhuche Chishi, K Arab Konyak, Haileuyibe Iranggau, L mutiu, and Vinoka Sumi.

The Santosh Trophy, a premier inter-state football championship in India, is an opportunity for Nagaland’s players to showcase their skills and compete at a high level. Fans eagerly await the team’s performance, with many hoping for a strong start against Assam.
