Day 5 of the Cultural Extravaganza by Nagaland Tribes, organized by the Department of Art & Culture, featured a vibrant performance by Sikkim, the State Partner of the 25th Hornbill Festival 2024.
Held on December 5, 2024, at the Naga Heritage Village, Kisama, Kohima, Sikkim’s performance showcased the Integration Dance, symbolizing the state’s unity, peace, and tranquillity under the watchful presence of the revered Kanchenjunga.
The morning Cultural Extravaganza was hosted by P. Bashangmongba Chang, Minister for Housing & Mechanical Engineering, and co-hosted by S. Kiusumew Yimchunger, Advisor for Fire & Emergency Services, Home Guards, and Civil Defence, along with Kvulo Lorin, Chairman of NIDC.
Eighteen cultural troupes presented unique dances and songs, beginning with the Sumi Cultural Troupe performing Aphilo Kuwo (Warrior Dance).

· Pochury Cultural Troupe: Hohidoh Hohidoh (Folk Song).
· Lotha Cultural Troupe: Ole-hoo (Action Song).
· Phom Cultural Troupe: Chingtempe (Stilt Walking).
· Konyak Cultural Troupe: Kham Shupu Hie Kham Kongpu/Moolao (Log-drum Pulling and Beating).
· Kachari Cultural Troupe: Habling Dangbani (Folk Song).
· Yimkhiung Cultural Troupe: Wochak Khüntong (Cultivation Song).
· Zeliang Cultural Troupe: A commemorative performance.

· Garo Cultural Troupe: Rong Dea (Stone Lifting).
· Kuki Cultural Troupe: Zou-Lie Kon (Folk Dance).
· Angami Cultural Troupe: A commemorative performance.
