The Nagaland government has launched the Chief Minister’s Micro Finance Initiative 2.0 (CMMFI 2.0), opening doors for aspiring entrepreneurs and farmers to access tailored financial solutions, subsidies, and innovative project support.

According to a DIPR report, CMMFI 2.0 covers a wide range of sectors, including retail, services, transport, hospitality, agriculture, and innovation. Entrepreneurs can venture into businesses like provision stores, mobile food units, gyms, software services, hydroponics, homestays, and agriculture projects aligned with NABARD guidelines.

For transport-based ventures, the initiative offers exclusive subsidies on commercial vehicles. Partnerships with Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki Nexa, Kia, and Mahindra enable beneficiaries to access models like Tata Yodha, Kia Carens, and more, with up to 30% back-ended subsidies under programs like Nagaland Tourism Connect and Nagaland Logistics Connect.

Interested applicants can access project details through the CMMFI booklet at www.credit.nagaland.gov.in or visit Swavalamban Connect Kendras at district DC offices. Comprehensive support, including Detailed Project Report (DPR) preparation and financial institution linkages, is available.

For assistance or grievances, contact the CMMFI Facilitation Cell at credit.fin-ngl@gov.in or call 9077175990.
