Deputy Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, Atoshili Zhimomi addressed the 41-U Western Sumi Students Union, Baghi Hoho, on January 21 as a guest speaker.
Zhimomi’s speech centered on the theme “With United Power” and stressed the importance of career guidance, perseverance, and sincerity in achieving success. “Success is not solely dependent on individual talent, but also on the opportunities provided by God,” Zhimomi emphasized.
Zhimomi encouraged students to be humble, live with God-fearing values, and commit to their studies. She also urged them to choose their careers wisely, whether in bureaucracy or business, and strive to be masterful in their chosen careers.
The Deputy Secretary highlighted the importance of perseverance, patience, and careful decision-making in overcoming challenges and achieving success. Zhimomi cautioned that many people fail to achieve their goals due to impatience and lack of careful planning.
“Your future depends on your harvesting of today,” Zhimomi added, emphasizing the importance of making the most of available opportunities. Zhimomi also encouraged students to seize available opportunities and become successful individuals, noting that students are the leaders of today and tomorrow.
