Congress Leader Rajesh Kumar Sethi, National Coordinator of the AICC Minority Department and Observer for the Trinagar Assembly, along with Kutoho Chishi, President of the Dimapur District Congress Committee, Nagaland, conducted a door-to-door campaign today in support of Congress candidate Satender Sharma in the 16-Trinagar Assembly constituency of Delhi.
During the campaign, Sethi emphasized that the Congress party has been at the forefront of improving Delhi and asserted that it remains the only party capable of further advancing the city’s development. He strongly criticized the BJP at the Centre and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Delhi for misleading the public and stated his belief that the people were now looking for a change. “The public is well aware of the intentions of the Aam Aadmi Party and the BJP. This time, the public will not fall for their deceit. The public is ready to vote for development along with the Congress,” said Sethi.
The campaign included a Pad Yatra at Majdoor Chowk, Shanti Nagar, Ganeshpura, and Trinagar, where both Sethi and Kutoho Chishi appealed to the public to support Satender Sharma’s candidacy. According to Sethi, the overwhelming response from the public was a clear indication of a strong desire for change, with the people of Trinagar Assembly showing firm support for Sharma’s bid.
