Nepali Baptist Church Walford, in collaboration with Dimapur Town Nepali Baptist Church Duncan, Nepali Baptist Church Kuda, Gorkha Baptist Church Viola, and Gorkha Baptist Church Thahekhu, hosted a combined youth fellowship on February 9, 2025. The gathering brought together five churches, strengthening bonds of faith, community, and youth empowerment.


The event fostered unity and friendship among the churches, reflecting their shared commitment to spiritual growth and cooperation.

Pastor Robert Aley of NBC Walford spoke on “Dare to Be Different,” encouraging young people to embrace their uniqueness and strive for excellence in their communities.

The program began with an invocation by Anand Thapa of GBC Thahekhu, followed by a warm welcome from Prem Biswa, Youth Pastor of NBC Walford. DTNBC Duncan led the praise and worship, and Obed of NBC Kuda chaired the event.

Inatoli of NBC Walford led the offertory prayer, while Kalpana Giri of GBC Viola presented a solo performance. Mary Thapa (English) and Jacob Sunar (Nepali) of NBC Kuda shared scripture readings. A Gorkha Gospel Dance by NBC Kuda added to the cultural richness of the gathering. Bandhana Lama of NBC Walford closed the program with a benediction prayer.

The fellowship ended with refreshments, providing time for interaction and bonding.

Now in its third phase, the combined youth fellowship continues to grow in strength and unity, with participating churches eager to carry this tradition forward.
