The Labour Department has announced that training courses in cutting & tailoring, knitting, and embroidery for the year 2025 will begin in April. The courses will be held at various Labour Welfare Centres (LWC) across the state, including: LWC Dimapur; LWC Tuli, Mokokchung; LWC Wazeho Mini Cement Plant, Phek and; LWC Doyang Hydro Electric Project (DHEP), Doyang.
The eight-month training program aims to equip candidates with essential skills and will be available to interested individuals. Application forms for the courses will be available at the respective Labour Welfare Centres during office hours. The deadline for submitting completed application forms is set for 15th March, 2025.
As the number of seats is limited, candidates will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis. The Department will provide all necessary training materials and kits free of cost to each trainee throughout the training period.
