Two shooters from Aries Rifle and Pistol Shooting Academy, Khelo India Centre, Dimapur, have secured their spots in the National Shooting Championship Competition 2025 following their performances at the 07324 India Open Competition in Big Bore Rifle/Pistol. The event was held at the Army Marksmanship Unit in Mhow, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, from March 23 to 31, 2025.


Kimatsung Jamir, a renowned shooter in the 10m Air Rifle, 50m Rifle Peep Sight Prone, and 50m Rifle Peep Sight 3 Position categories, scored 285/300, finishing in 41st place in the Men’s Individual event. Meanwhile, Lanu Akumtoshi Jamir delivered an impressive performance in the Master Men Individual category, scoring 278/300 to secure 10th place.

With these results, both shooters have qualified for the prestigious National Shooting Championship Competition 2025.
