The 8th Parents-Teachers Meet of Capital College of Higher Education (CCHE) was held on April 12, 2025, at Sahitya Sabha Hall, PR Hill, Kohima. The program was led by Tatongkala Lemtur, Dean of Students, with an invocation by Opangmenla Jamir, IQAC Coordinator. Dr Zokho Venuh, Principal, welcomed all parents and guardians, encouraging active engagement between parents, students, and teachers.


A special group song was presented by the EU Committee members, followed by a speech from Vice Principal Vevohu Kezo, who highlighted the college’s activities. He elaborated on the NEP-based FYUGP structure, internship opportunities, assessment patterns, and the college’s consistent academic performance. He also announced the introduction of a new Diploma in Computer Science course and shared updates on events, clubs, international conferences, and student achievements.

Short speeches were delivered by Dr Rükulü Puro on behalf of the teachers, and Honili Yepthomi on behalf of the parents, both expressing gratitude and commitment towards student development. A parent, Zühüvelü Mary Kezo, also shared heartfelt appreciation and support.

The Principal announced open hours for parent inquiries, and a duet song by two second-semester students added a musical note to the event. Newly selected parent representatives were Zühüvelü Mary Kezo and Vihoi Wotsa. The meet concluded with a benediction by Daudi Rabha, light refreshments, and an interactive session between parents and faculty to discuss student performance.
