The Chümoukedima District Football Association (CDFA) successfully concluded its two-day player trial for the upcoming Dr. T. Ao Trophy 2025 at the Chümoukedima Football Stadium.

The trial, held on June 27 and 28, saw the participation of 130 aspiring footballers from across the district. Following a rigorous evaluation on the first day, 50 players were shortlisted for the second round held on June 28.

After a competitive round on the second day, 35 players were selected to undergo training at the preparatory camp ahead of the prestigious state-level tournament.


The selection process was overseen by a committee comprising Convenor Vitouto Kuotsu and members Khriese Terhüja, Aceu Zashumo, and Letkhokai Kuki.

The XXIVth Dr. T Ao Trophy (Inter-District Football Championship) 2025, organized by the Nagaland Football Association (NFA) and hosted by the Kohima District Football Association (KDFA), is scheduled to take place in Kohima from August 1 to 15, 2025.
