Deputy Commissioner of Kohima, B. Henok Buchem, NCS, along with his team, undertook the clearing of landslide debris at Bayavü Colony, below the Directorate of School Education, Kohima, on July 6, 2025.
He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Kohima Municipal Council for providing a JCB and a dumper; Advisor and MLA Dr. Kekhrielhoulie Yhome for providing a dumper; Ward-2 Councillor Avilie Rio for arranging a dumper and working lunch; the PWD (Mechanical) for the provision of a dumper; the Bayavü Colony Youth, led by the Colony President, for providing manpower; the Kohima SDRF for manpower assistance; the Kohima DDMA for logistics support; the Power Department, Kohima Division, for their cooperation; and SDO (Civil) Sadar, James Renbi Kikon, for his leadership and coordination as team leader.
