The Transmission Division Mokokchung has announced a scheduled power shutdown from July 28 to August 2, 2025, to facilitate vegetation clearance along the 66kV transmission lines.
The operation will take place daily from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, affecting the 66kV Naginimora–Tizit feeder and resulting in a temporary power outage in Mon District.
According to the department, the exercise is being carried out to ensure stable and uninterrupted power supply in the long run by preventing potential line disruptions caused by overgrown vegetation.
The department has appealed to residents and stakeholders in the affected areas to cooperate and bear with the temporary inconvenience during the scheduled maintenance work.
