Mokokchung, April 27 (MTNews): Keeping its eyes on the upcoming state assembly election 2023, the Bharatiya Janata Party 24 Angetyongpang Mandal is in full party mobilisation mode which is being undertaken on a war footing under its Mandal President, Imtichizung Ozukum, a statement from the party’s media cell said today.
As part of its mobilisation activity, which started off from early this year, the Mandal President Imtichizung and his party colleagues visited three village units under the constituency namely Chakpa, Yaongyimti New and Phangsang town on April 26, 2022.
At Chakpa village, the Mandal officials formally set up the Booth Level Committee and entrusted them to work tirelessly for the forthcoming assembly election. At Yongyimti New village, the Mandal officials formally set up the BJP Unit and appointed the unit office bearers.
Meanwhile at Phangsang Town, the Mandal officials held a meeting with one of the veteran BJP karyakarta Imtizulu, the first BJP candidate from Mokokchung district who contested in the year 2003. The visiting Mandal officials appreciated Imtizulu for being a loyal BJP karyakarta and said that veteran leaders like him were the morale booster for BJP in the constituency. The mandal officials also presented gifts as a token of appreciation for his loyalty to the party.
24 Angetyongpang Assembly constituency is one of the most prestigious mandals under Mokokchung district with twelve units. The BJP mandal officials will be visiting the other units within this week.
