The Ao Students’ Conference (AKM) has announced that the ultimatum it issued on 14 September 2025 will remain in abeyance. The decision was taken after due consultation and in consideration of the unified stand adopted by the Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) at its Emergency Presidential Council meeting.

In a joint statement, AKM president Lanutoshi Aier and general secretary Satemmongba said that the AKM stands in full solidarity with the RMSA Teachers 2016 batch and will abide by the collective decision and timeline set forth by the NSF, which has granted a period of ten days to the government for necessary action.
