Mez & Co and Sadar Hills FA Manipur recorded convincing victories in their respective matches of the 25th NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2025 at IG Stadium, Kohima, on Day 7, Saturday.
In the day’s opening fixture, Mez & Co defeated Kigwema Students’ Union (SU) 5–0. Bijoy Moktan opened the scoring in the 9th minute before Thokchom Adison Singh struck a superb hat-trick, netting in the 16th, 57th, and 94th minutes. Tangua Ragvi added his name to the scoresheet with a goal in the 31st minute, sealing a dominant performance for the side.
In the second match, Sadar Hills Football Association (FA) proved too strong for Nagaland University, cruising to a 4–0 victory. Ngamchinlen put Sadar Hills ahead on the stroke of halftime with a 45th-minute strike. After the break, Langougin delivered a sensational hat-trick with goals in the 76th, 83rd, and 90+1 minutes, ensuring a comfortable win.
The Player of the Match title went to Lunminthang (Jersey 5) of Sadar Hills FA for his solid performance. The award was presented by Visako Rino, Councillor of Medziphema Town Council and former president of the Angami Students’ Union.
