Salam Lamyanba Luwang, a PhD research scholar from Nagaland University’s Department of Agricultural Engineering & Technology, was awarded the Best Agricultural Engineer.
The award was conferred during FutureAg-2025, the 11th National Conference on “Advancing Food & Farming for a Sustainable Future,” organized by the Department of Agriculture, Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur (ICAR Accredited), in collaboration with Just Agriculture Communications Group and ISAHRD Society. The conference took place from September 9-10, 2025, at Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur, Rajasthan.
Salam Lamyanba Luwang specializes in soil and water conservation engineering. His research, entitled “Assessing the Impact and Control of Soil Erosion in Hilly Terrain of Nagaland, India,” is supervised by Prof. Prabhakar Sharma of the Department of Agricultural Engineering & Technology, Nagaland University.
