The Lions Club Kohima convened a meeting at the Kohima Lions Club Service Centre on Thursday as part of the Lions International Peace Poster Competition for the 2025-2026 session. The club highlighted its commitment to promoting peace and creativity among students through the annual event, which allows winners to advance to state, national, and international levels.
The meeting, led by President Oken Jeet Sandham, also covered key agenda items including preparations for the District Governor’s visit, the eye hospital project in Kohima, induction of new members, and tree plantation initiatives. The Lions Club flag salutation was administered by SP Francis, emphasizing the club’s dedication to its values and mission.
Members present included Max Marius Menuse-O, Ketoukholie Whuorie, and Er. Talitemsu Jamir, who also joined the District Governor’s 1st Zonal Advisory Committee meeting online. The gathering reflected the club’s continued focus on community service and youth engagement.
