Merang Jamir, ISSF Judge, Governing Body Member of the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI), and Advisor & Chief Technical Officer of the Nagaland Rifle Association, is representing Nagaland in the ISSF Junior World Cup 2025. The event is being held at the Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Ranges, New Delhi, from September 24 to October 2, 2025.
Jamir is serving as a member of the Organizing Committee and has also been appointed as Range Officer at the 50 Metre Range during the international competition. His presence in this capacity marks his fifth appearance at a World Cup, reflecting his extensive experience and dedication to the sport of shooting.
His participation not only brings recognition to Nagaland but also underscores the state’s growing representation in the national and international shooting arena. It further highlights his sustained efforts to enhance the standards of shooting sport across the region and inspire upcoming athletes.
