The Ao Kaketshir Telungjem Bengaluru (AKTB) celebrated its 40th Annual Freshers’ Meet at the United Theological College, Benson Town, under the theme “Penzü Ulushi: Pei Mangdang Tongtet.”

The event was attended by Ao Kaketshir Mungdang (AKM) leaders, including President Lanutoshi Aier, Vice President Onenpong, General Secretary Satemmongba, and Assistant General Secretary Banjungkaba Imchen. AKM President Lanutoshi Aier, who delivered the keynote address, urged students to expand their horizons, strive for excellence, and overcome societal challenges. He encouraged them to be proactive, cultivate strong minds, and pursue innovation and entrepreneurship rather than solely seeking employment.

The programme included greetings from Ao Senso Telongjem Bengaluru and the Naga Students’ Union Bengaluru, cultural performances, introduction and prayer for freshers, and a felicitation ceremony. The second session focused on organisational reports, agenda discussions, and adoption of resolutions.

The meet was also attended by members of the Bengaluru Ao Baptist Fellowship (BABF), Sub-Units, Tribal Units of the Naga Students’ Union Bengaluru (NSUB), Eastern Naga Students’ Union Bengaluru (ENSUB), and well-wishers of the Ao community.

The occasion was marked by enthusiasm, cultural vibrancy, and a reaffirmation of AKTB’s commitment to unity, growth, and service within Bengaluru’s student community.
