The Mokokchung Senso Laishir Telungjem (MSLT) organized the 25th death anniversary of Prof. Renthy Keitzar on October 1 at Mokokchung Baptist Church. Prof. Renthy Keitzar (1936–2000) was a theological stalwart and is regarded as one of the tallest figures among the Ao Nagas. In recognition of his contributions to theology and literature, the Ao Baptist Arogo Mungdang (ABAM) conferred on him the title Laishir Tebuti, which can be loosely translated as “patriarch of theology.” He is survived by two sons and four grandchildren.

Two lectures were delivered as part of the anniversary program, which was attended by members of Mokokchung Baptist Church, family and relatives, MSLT members, ABAM leaders, Ongpangkong church leaders, and well-wishers.

Dr. Sashikaba Kichutzar, Vice Principal of Eastern Theological College, Jorhat, on Indigenization of Christianity in Northeast India. Coincidentally, both Jamir and Kichutzar were present when Keitzar breathed his last on October 1, 2000.
A book titled Contributions of Prof. Renthy Keitzar to the Development of Ao Naga Literature and Language, authored by Lanu Atsongchanger, President of MSLT, was released by Dr. Moanungsang Tzüdir, Secretary of Literature and Education, ABAM.
Another highlight of the event was the launch of the Renthy Keitzar Memorial Library Digital Platform & Archive by Rev. Temsu Jamir, Executive Secretary of ABAM.
The program was chaired by Dr. K. Alemla Longkumer, Deacon of DABA, while Rev. Imti, Pastor of MBA, pronounced the opening prayer. The welcome address was delivered by Rev. W. Supong, Pastor of Tzüsapang Baptist Church, and the male voice group Polyphonia presented special numbers.
