S Phangnon Konyak, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) from Nagaland, will attend the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York from October 8 to 14, 2025, as part of the first non-official Indian Parliamentary Delegation.
She will be joined by 14 other Members of Parliament from across the country. The visit marks a significant initiative aimed at enhancing parliamentary engagement in international diplomacy and strengthening India’s voice in global discussions on issues related to peace, development and cooperation.
