The Team Tepenjem Women’s Basketball Team from Mokokchung secured the 1st Runners-Up position at the 7th Vision Trinity Women’s Basketball Tournament, held on October 1–2 in Kohima.
Led by Head Coach Thejangulie Mekro, Assistant Coach Alirenba Aier, and Manager Moasunep Longkumer, the team displayed teamwork, discipline, and consistency, topping their pool and advancing confidently through the knockout stage to reach the final.
In the championship match, Team Tepenjem faced Team Navi but lost 14–24, concluding the tournament as 1st Runners-Up.
Acknowledging the team’s success, the management expressed gratitude to their sponsors and well-wishers, noting that “the journey and achievements of Team Tepenjem would not have been possible without the constant support and encouragement from individuals and organizations who continue to invest in women’s sports.”
