Impur Christian Hospital (ICH) celebrated World Hospice and Palliative Care Day on 11 October by organizing a special programme followed by a free medical camp at the Merangkong School compound, specifically dedicated to senior citizens.

T Zulu Pastor of the Merangkong School Compound Baptist Church lauded ICH for hosting the event and expressed immense gratitude, describing the initiative as “priceless.”

During the event, 35 individuals received essential medical care and necessary medications, highlighting ICH’s commitment to improving the quality of life for the elderly population.
The ICH palliative care team, comprising five members and expertly led by Dr. Alem, Medical Officer, with efficient coordination by Narola Walling, Chaplain, made a significant impact as they successfully commemorated this important day.
