The Mokokchung Police will organize a “Run for Unity” on October 31, 2025, to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India.
The event aims to foster and reinforce the spirit of unity, integrity, and national security while remembering Patel’s invaluable contribution in uniting India and laying the foundation for national integration.
The run will begin at 6:00 a.m. from Ongpangkong BOC Point and culminate at Imkongmeren Stadium (Local Ground). Participants have been requested to assemble at the starting point by 5:45 a.m.
Mokokchung Police has invited all sections of society—including students, government officials, NGOs, youth organizations, and the general public—to take part in the event and make it a grand success.
