As part of the Hornbill Festival 2025 celebrations, the Department of Art and Culture will set up the annual Hornbill Artists’ Corner Art Gallery at the WWII Museum premises, Kisama. The gallery provides a platform for visual artists to showcase their work, blending exhibitions with an art fair experience.
The Artists’ Corner is designed to leverage the festival’s vibrant art scene, allowing artists to display their creations and conduct on-site programs. Local artists interested in participating are requested to submit two artworks along with a brief bio-data and tag/label to the Directorate of Art and Culture during office hours by November 28, 2025, or directly at the Artists’ Corner, Kisama, by December 1, 2025.
This initiative aims to encourage creative expression and promote local talent as part of the state’s premier cultural festival.
