A surprise “Expire Free Awareness Drive” was conducted this morning across all villages under the Seyochung Area. The drive was organised by the Seyochung Area Students’ Union (SASU) with the objective of ensuring public safety and protecting community health.

Prior to the drive, all unit presidents were informed and directed to extend full cooperation. The main aim of the initiative was to identify and remove expired products from shops and other commercial establishments. Inspection teams carried out strict checks and adopted a zero-tolerance approach towards negligence or non-compliance.
All village unions under the Seyochung Area actively participated in the drive. Inspections were conducted thoroughly, and discipline was maintained throughout the process. As instructed, photographs and videos were taken for documentation and record purposes.
The Seyochung Area Students’ Union stated that the Expire Free Awareness Drive was undertaken as a serious measure in the interest of public safety and community welfare. The union also appealed to shopkeepers and the general public to remain vigilant and ensure that expired items are neither sold nor used in the future.
The drive highlighted a collective effort to keep the Seyochung Area safe, healthy and responsible while promoting awareness and accountability within the community.
