The Naga People’s Front (NPF) has extended congratulations to Yumnam Khemchand Singh on his appointment as Chief Minister of Manipur and to Losii Dikho and Nemcha Kipgen on their appointments as Deputy Chief Ministers.
In a press release issued from its Central Headquarters in Kohima, the NPF also welcomed the formation of the new government following nearly a year of President’s Rule in the state.
The party expressed hope that the new leadership would work towards restoring peace and stability, address ongoing ethnic tensions through reconciliation and promote inclusive development. It further reaffirmed its commitment to extending constructive support to the BJP-led government in the larger interest of peace and progress for the people of Manipur.
