Nagaland will compete against 11 other states in the East Zone league, which carries a total cash award of Rs 11.66 lakh.

The Nagaland Association Kickboxing Organization, established in 2000, has consistently produced medal-winning athletes at national and international events. Recently, Naga male kickboxers under NAKO brought home five medals, including one gold, two silver, one bronze, and a fourth-place finish, further strengthening the state’s presence in the sport.

The upcoming zonal league is expected to provide another platform for Nagaland’s athletes to showcase their talent and aim for podium finishes at the national level.
