As part of the NSS Probationary Foundation Course training, 43 NSS probationers today undertook a one-day visit to Zhadima village in Kohima district.
During the programme, PHC Zhadima Medical Officer Dr. Vitsole Lohe shared a brief overview of healthcare services provided under PHC Zhadima.
Chiephobozou CDPO office supervisor Avibu highlighted various activities and welfare programmes being implemented at the village level.
Chiephobozou Block Programme Manager Neikesanuo Ziephrü spoke on the outreach of the Nagaland Rural Livelihood Mission across 19 villages under the Chiephobozou block.
Chiephobozou BDO Vilopi Sakhrie highlighted various schemes under Rural Development, while Zhadima VDB secretary Roko Angami shared an overview of different programmes implemented at the village level under RD.
The team also visited GHS Zhadima, the Anganwadi centre, and the Amrit Sarovar project at Ziazia, Zhadima.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by Chiephobozou EAC Moasunep K Jingru, while the welcome address was delivered by Zhadima Village Council chairman Neilalhoulie Soliezuo.
Roko Angami informed that the programme concluded with an interaction session and a display of products by SHGs promoted by NSRLM.
