The Entrepreneur Awareness and Special Vendor Development Programme was held at E-Space near SBI Rangapahar Branch, Duncan, Dimapur, on Thursday under the aegis of the National SC-ST Hub (NSSH) of the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC), Ministry of MSME, Government of India.

Around 100 entrepreneurs, business owners and stakeholders from across Nagaland attended the programme. Officials from NSIC, government departments, financial institutions and Central Public Sector Undertakings (CPSUs) also participated.
Delivering the welcome address, Business Association of Nagas (BAN) Vice President (National) Colo Mero highlighted the importance of empowering local entrepreneurs through greater participation in government procurement and business development initiatives.
Representatives from NSSH, GeM, the Ministry of MSME, the Industries Department, Government of Nagaland, SBI, Food Corporation of India, Cement Corporation of India, Airports Authority of India, NIT/IOCL, ICAI and the AICIL team made presentations on procurement opportunities and business growth avenues.
A key feature of the programme was the provision of free on-the-spot GeM and Udyam registrations. A small exhibition showcasing local products and services was also organised to facilitate networking and business promotion.
The programme concluded with an interactive discussion session and a vote of thanks, reaffirming the commitment of NSIC and its partners to strengthening entrepreneurship and supporting MSMEs in Nagaland.
