Dr Yhome also highlighted the Vidyadhan Scholarship Programme, which is exclusively available to students from government schools. He informed that students securing 75 per cent and above are eligible to apply for financial assistance that continues up to graduation. He urged eligible students to take advantage of the opportunity.

He further noted that Nagaland has emerged as one of the most literate states in the country and remarked that girls have consistently outperformed boys in recent years. He also acknowledged the achievement of 22 government schools that recorded a 100 per cent pass percentage in the HSLC and HSSLC examinations.

Principal Director of School Education Shashank Pratap Singh, IAS, said the event celebrated academic excellence, perseverance and dedication. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to strengthening education through improved infrastructure, teacher capacity-building and student support initiatives.

Certificates were presented to 22 government schools with a 100 per cent pass record, while awards were also given to top-performing students across the HSLC and HSSLC Arts, Commerce and Science streams. The programme also featured presentations on the Vidyadhan Scholarship Programme and experience-sharing sessions by student achievers.
